eclipses

Another life list! I realised I've seen a few eclipses now. I should begin listing them. Events are in reverse chronological order, most recent at the top.

Technically, this is for lunar eclipses. If you're looking for solar eclipses, I will list them under occultations! Mr Nason would be proud...

See the gallery for photos.

101221 full lunar eclipse - viewed, photographed
From my new Toronto home, from the porch, in the middle of the night, I photographed the lunar eclipse. There was a beehive of activity on the RASC Toronto Centre Yahoo!Group, which was very cool!

080220 full lunar eclipse - viewed
Assisted RASC members in the star party at the Ontario Science Centre. Cold! Malcolm photographed it from his home. I was purportedly on the radio during a CBC report.

070828 full lunar eclipse - viewed, photographed
Viewed from Mississauga, from Malcolm's house. I photographed (wide angle)! The best I've ever witnessed.

070303 full lunar eclipse - missed
Travelled to Ajax to watch the eclipse. We were clouded out!

931128 full lunar eclipse - viewed, photographed
Housesitting in High Park area, west Toronto. Photographed through the C8 telescope.
